It is very important for our development to be a part of cultural life and to learn not only about our own, but also about foreign cultures. This then leads to greater respect, tolerance, and understanding of other cultures, which is a big problem today. Czech culture is beautiful. We have many folk traditions in the country that have been followed for centuries. We have our own important artists, singers, visual artists, sculptors, actors, and writers. For such a small country, our culture is truly rich.
